hope|ful|ly

hope|ful|ly
hope|ful|ly «HOHP fuh lee», adverb.
in a hopeful manner or with a feeling of hope or ground for expectation: »

He left all his female kindred…either matched with peers of the realm actually, or hopefully with earls' sons and heirs (Henry Wotton). Some day soon, we hope, he will combine the three books. And, “hopefully,” as current jabberwocky has it, make the reader's task just a trifle easier (New York Times).

Usage Hopefully in the usage “it is to be hoped that” has been avoided by some writers who were perhaps unaware of this long-established pattern of adverbial use in English as in doubtlessly, surely, and absolutely.
